As fourth generation bakers from Germany, the Wenzel brothers combined old world techniques and modern technology to produce the Richmond's favorite sweets. The bakery changed hands twice before landing at the helm of owners Ralph and Lutz Wenzel in 1995, both worked at the store at the time.
